Dear colleagues and friends

Day by day, the number of meetings related to Health Care, is enormously increasing and at the same time, is becoming more and more difficult for us to attend. Not only for the overload of work in our Institutions, limiting our time, but also due to the complexity of financing the congress fees, the travelling expenses and daily cost in a less familiar environment. That requires a careful selection of where to go and what the benefit is going to bring to you.

Barcelona keeps being a very attractive place for a congress and has a long tradition and experience in the Cardiothoracic field.

Both, the whole council of the WSCTS and ourselves, as local organizers, are committed to offer you a great meeting ensuring cost containment at the time it fulfills your expectations.

Topics will not be limited but, main sessions will be addressed and focused to discuss: (1) New Educational tools in CTS, (2) Women in CTS from now on, (3) Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension therapy today and (4) Teaching in Endovascular Surgery.

It will be a pleasure to help you to enjoy this event and, be sure, we will make all efforts possible to get a memorable time among us.

José L. Pomar, MD, PhD

On behalf of the WSCTS and the Organizing Committee

President of the 32nd Congress
